Artificial Immune Systems for text-dependent speaker recognition
نویسندگان
چکیده
This paper shows the potential accomplishments of artificial immune systems (in particular, the negative selection algorithm) application to the problem of speaker recognition. Both the use of binary representation of original signal and that of its Fast Fourier Transform in a real-number representation are analysed. A number of experiments are performed on different datasets to examine the performance evolution with respect to the different system parameters. It is found that substantial enhancements of the system capabilities are possible by means of the exploitation of the Fast Fourier Transform.

Semantic Preserving Data Reduction using Artificial Immune Systems
Artificial Immune Systems (AIS) can be defined as soft computing systems inspired by immune system of vertebrates. Immune system is an adaptive pattern recognition system. AIS have been used in pattern recognition, machine learning, optimization and clustering. Feature reduction refers to the problem of selecting those input features that are most predictive of a given outcome; a problem encoun...
متن کاملSpeaker Recognition Using Gaussian Mixtures Models
Speech signal contains several levels of information. At first it contains information about the spoken message. At second level speech signal also gives information about the speaker identity, his emotional state and so on. The task of speaker recognition can be divided into two parts: speaker identification and speaker verification. Speaker identification is answering the question which one o...
متن کاملText-Dependent Speaker Recognition Using Emotional Features and Neural Networks
This paper deals with a novel feature extraction method for text dependent speaker recognition. Four female speakers were used to create a text –dependent database for Malayalam (one of the south Indian languages). Discrete Wavelet Transform was used for feature extraction and artificial neural network was used for machine intelligence. In this work we used emotional features for speaker recogn...
متن کاملMultilingual text-to-phoneme mapping
This paper introduces a novel approach for generating multilingual text-to-phoneme mappings for use in multilingual speech recognition systems. The multilingual mappings are based on the weighted outputs from a neural network text-to-phoneme model, trained on data mixed from several languages. The multilingual mappings used together with a branched grammar decoding scheme is able to capture bot...

This paper investigates an approach that maximizes the joint posterior probability of the pronounced word and the speaker identity given the observed data. This probability can be expressed as a product of the posterior probability of the pronounced word estimated through an artificial neural network (ANN), and the likelihood of the data estimated through a Gaussian mixture model (GMM). We show...
